On April 22, we celebrate Earth Day, on which CIB Bank in Hungary together with other Intesa Sanpaolo International Subsidiary Banks, will be part of WWF-CEE's Earth Day initiative, aiming at raising awareness of key environmental issues with the focus on biodiversity, promoting responsible sustainable practices among bank consumers, and mobilizing them to use digital services with a lower ecological footprint. Also, they mobilize funds for specific WWF projects in Albania, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovenia. The bank will invite all clients to join the initiative by choosing digital banking.

Our relationship with nature is broken. Biodiversity – the rich diversity of life on Earth – is being lost at an alarming rate. 68% decline* in wildlife populations on average since 1970 affects not only the state of nature but our own health and well-being, too. This Earth Day, CIB Bank together with other Intesa Sanpaolo International Subsidiary Banks decided to support WWF in our actions to bend the curve of biodiversity loss.
