4 EARTH-FRIENDLY WAYS TO STORE YOUR FOOD

Considering how much food we need each week, month and year, it’s not a surprise that we often wind up with leftovers. Fighting food waste is not easy, but as long as we aim for progress and not perfection, we can fine-tune our daily habits towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

To help you out we’ve put together a list of four storage products, important tools to help budding food waste warriors to keep food fresh, stretch your money and prevent food waste:

1. Silicone bags

If you’re looking for an alternative to your resealable storage bags, reusable silicone bags perform just as well with less impact on the environment. They are slim and compact, fit for the nooks and crannies of your fridge, and come in a variety of sizes such as a half-gallon or pocket size.
